Thursday 28th May
☕ Coffee Morning 🍰
9.30am - 12.00pm
Venue: Waitrose Café
223 London Road, Worcester, WR5 2JG (map)
We'll meet and stay in the Café because the community room will be unavailable.
If you support someone in your family who is facing mental health challenges you might be feeling isolated and in need of some time for yourself.
Our coffee morning provides an opportunity to find out more about Jigsaw. You can connect with others who are in a similar situation to gain emotional support and useful information.😊
Monday 1st June
Our next meeting is on Monday 1st June. This will be a Zoom meeting only. If you are interested in attending, please contact us and we will send a link.
We will be joined by Justine Hill, Deputy Associate Director of Primary Care and Community Mental Health.
She will give a talk following on from that given by Diane Topham on 2nd February. NHS England has carried out an independent review into the tragedies in Nottingham and Justine will outline the issues identified, including:
-
personalised assessment of risk across community and inpatient teams
-
joint discharge planning arrangements between the person, their family, the inpatient and community team (alongside other involved agencies)
-
multi-agency working and information sharing
-
working closely with families
-
eliminating Out of Area Placements in line with ICB 3-year plans
