Monday 13th April
Our next meeting is on Monday 13th April. We will meet at the Malvern Hills Science Park as usual from 7-9pm (directions).
We will be joined by Justine Hill, Deputy Associate Director of Primary Care and Community Mental Health.
She will give a talk following on from that given by Diane Topham on 2nd February. NHS England carried out an independent review into the tragedies in Nottingham and Justine will outline the issues identified, including:
-
personalised assessment of risk across community and inpatient teams
-
joint discharge planning arrangements between the person, their family, the inpatient and community team (alongside other involved agencies)
-
multi-agency working and information sharing
-
working closely with families
-
eliminating Out of Area Placements in line with ICB 3-year plans
Justine will focus on how WHAC NHS Trust are progressing with these 5 work streams and in particular the service provision for patients with severe and enduring mental illnesses.
